Stilo WRC DES 9V Intercom
The Stilo WRC DES 9V Intercom is designed from the top of the range ST30 Des; the new WRC Des 9V Intercom offers a number of additional features, but all in a more cost-effective package.
Housed in the same casing as our original WRC 03 Intercom with its single intercom circuit, it still has individual volume controls for driver and co-driver but now has the option of the Extra Noise filter, which, with a flick of a switch copes with the excessive noise of Super 2000 rally cars.
It is designed to be fitted to the car’s rollcage, but it is portable to allow fitment as you require. It is powered by a 9-volt battery as standard, but there is a car adapter (as shown in the image), available as an extra, to allow a permanent feed from the car’s power supply (YB0100).
It has individual volume controls for both the driver and co-driver, and an automatic on/off power switch which operates when the co-driver has connected or disconnected their helmet plug. The green LED light on the front of the unit illuminates when the intercom is on.
This intercom comes with an output connection to allow you to connect your own video camera and record the conversation between driver and co-driver. Owing to the quality and the sensitivity of our electronics the use of our booster cable maybe required to allow the camera to hear the communications between driver and co-driver.
Note this intercom is designed to be used with Stilo WRC and Stilo Trophy plus helmets.
Not usable with Stilo Trophy rally helmets or telephone helmet kits.
