The Rugged Radios waterproof RDH-X handheld radio incorporates a PTT (push-to-talk) active lock feature that prevents accidental keying of the PTT button on the side of the radio. This feature ensures that the button remains secure and eliminates the risk of unintentional transmissions. While active, you are able to transmit using a car harness or the headset push-to-talk button.

This waterproof handheld radio works with all VHF/UHF business band radios operating on the same frequencies.
